Hi David / Kevin: April 2 2025
In my last email it was shown that the radiator is shifting both ways. What was not obvious was that due to thermal expansion from another loop at the boiler end of the line there was a retraction shown on the graph. This can come from the following configuration starting in the boiler room and ending in the chancel to the small radiator there. For some reason a separate line was used for that one radiator originally installed. Also, the pipe that was measured showed a counter clockwise movement at the beginning of the test from 87 degrees to 81 degrees and returning with time to 87 degrees. This was to allow the steam to generate and travel to the chancel radiator.
Cheers,
Alan Ritcey C.E.T.
